How far in advance do I need to contact The Peabody Orlando to be the venue for my celebration?
We recommend you contract your event 8 to 12 months out, depending on how flexible you are with your event date.

Will I have a location available indoors if the weather will not permit my celebration to be outside?
Yes, the hotel will reserve space inside in the event weather does not permit the event be hosted outdoors.  A collaborated decision will be made by the hotel, decorator, event coordinator and couple or event host on the day of the event.  The location will be determined on the morning of the event.

What is the food and beverage minimum when hosting a celebration at The Peabody Orlando?
The hotel will set a minimum that is comfortable and easy to achieve.

Can we create a custom menu for the occassion?
The Peabody Orlando believes your wedding and celebrations should be uniquely you!  Our Forbes Four-Star rating proves we are the best of the best, and our culinary team will be happy to display their talents by creating a custom menu of your favorite tastes.

Will the Catering Manager be present on the day of the event?
Yes, the Catering Manager is your contact from beginning to end of your celebration.  The Catering Manager will be present at the event to provide critical oversight of the banquet preparation and service execution, and coordinating all on-site, internal operations to ensure a seamless event.  A Banquet Captain, Chef and Floor Manager will also be assigned to assist in making the celebration one to remember for the ages. 

Why should I hire a wedding planner?
It is beneficial having a professional wedding planner who will concentrate on your needs and will ease the apprehensiveness that often accompanies the planning of such a special event.   A professional wedding planner is able to assist with design elements, vendor referrals and other selection proecess while makeing sure that all event details are attended to so you can relax and enjoy your celebration, surrounded by family and friends.  We recommend hiring a planner from our 'Recommended List' who is familiar with The Peabody Orlando, the standards we work by and has an established, professional relationship with our staff.

 Am I allowed to bring outside vendors into The Peabody Orlando?
Although we recommend you utilize vendors from our 'Recommended List', we do allow you to bring vendors from the outside.  The hotel will not be responsible for vendors hired who are not listed on the 'Recommended List'.  We do require all vendors to be licensed and insured.
